In which the High Evolutionary not only scarred Rocket for life in every way possible in order to create a perfect species, but also implanted a “mind control” chip in Rocket that gets damaged when he gets injured. After a fun mission to a planet Rocket is a little too familiar with, Rocket starts losing control of himself, and the Guardians and Rocket himself must find out what’s going on and save Rocket before it’s too late.
Contains insights into Rocket's childhood after leaving the Arete.
This was written out of my desire to explore Rocket’s character more and the relationships the other Guardians have with him.
